Part 1: Contractions

It was 9:30 and shahny's contractions started. This is mandze by the way, her amazing sister;) ill be keeping it updated for her! with every passing minute they've gotten stronger and stronger. So she called the midwife and she said that shahny cant come in yet because "obviously they aren't that strong enough seeing as how you are talking to me on the phone right now." ARE YOU SERIOUS? What she didn't know was that shahny was previously kneeling on the ground next to the bed with some strong contractions. Which is exactly why she called in the first place. Anyways okay fine, so we won't come in, but then she said "I recommend drinking some more water." shahny didnt know if she was more annoyed at the fact that she couldn't come in, or that she said more water. All she ever does is drink water! "hey shahn what ya doin?" "oh not much just drinking my water!" so after she got off the phone we started timing them on this cool app she has. (yess, there is an app for everything) and they have been pretty strong. So strong that I just want to drive her to the hospital already! But no, for some reason she says not yet.

Due Date

Here I am, 40.857 weeks and still pregnant. My due date has come and gone. I seriously thought I'd deliver before my due date since I was carrying him so low. But at my last appt, the midwife said I'm not dilated so they wanted to give baby some more time - except my momma said she never dilated and thats why she got a c-section with all of us. It's probably hereditary... So pretty sure he's not coming out on his own!!

They shall be giving me some medication on Sunday to help dilate me and then Monday I'll be induced. My baby's gonna be here soon!! Ahh I'm so excited and nervous and frankly jus can't wait!!

Seriously, holding Kyden made me SUPER excited for my lil one. I'm SO anxious for Liam to come now. Like, definitely NOT gonna wait any longer. You hear that, Liam?! :)

36 Weeks

Happy, Happy New Year!! Can you believe it? A whole year has come and go. I honestly think it went by SOO fast! So crazy how fast time goes by.


I am excited, nervous, scared, happy, and so many more emotions for this upcoming year. It's no doubt that 2012 will bring my greatest blessing ever: In 4 weeks (-ish), I will finally be able to hold, kiss, hug, and squeeze my lil baby. After months of nurturing this lil guy, he will finally be in my arms and he will be ALL mine and I seriously cannot wait! Espesh because all the restless night, morning sickness, body aching, emotional (hormone) roller coaster will be ALL worth it when my lil baby is here.

2 Week Notice

Honestly, I have been counting the days til I could give my two weeks notice at work. The main reason was because I NEED to relax before the baby comes. Maybe my baby boy will come early. Maybe he'll be late. BUT, any relaxation will be nice. 

So I gave my two weeks notice on December 16th. I was planning to work til December 30 (two weeks, right?) but my boss said today would be my last day. Woohoo!!

I can relax and enjoy the last few weeks of my pregnancy :)

9 Weeks Left

I have kinda been a slacker on this whole blogging thing. Man life has jus been so busy and crazy that when I do have a minute to relax all I wanna do is sleep and do nothing ha! I wanted to get my thoughts out before I forget regarding today's post: 9 Weeks Left


I am officially 31 weeks pregnant. It is so crazy to think, we only have 9 weeks left til out lil bundle of joy comes home. That's jus a lil over 2 months. I find it hard to believe how fast time has gone by. When we first found out we were pregnant, I thought "9 months is gonna be so LONG!" and it was at first - the morning sickness definitely dragged on. But as soon as the phase started being a thing in the past and things started coming together, I look back and think "Wow, time has gone by fast!" And now, there's only 9 weeks left! Single digits! I guess I'm just so excited to meet my lil guy!!
