Hello Truck!

I asked Billy to guest post about his truck that he loves so much and you know what he said: I dont even know what I'd write! Really?! You love your truck so much and you cant even say one lil tiny thing about it? Goodness gracious!

And since, Billy hasn't even name his precious car, I guess it's up to me to update yall on Trucker (sorry that's the best name I got :P ) 

If you recall, we sold Jessica. It was a real love-hate relationship with that car. I love the butt warmers - you know, heated seats, but I called them butt warmers. I loved how fast it went. I loved how sleek it looked. And I loved how COMFORTABLE it was. 

But I hated when I had to make the car payment. 

Now, although trucker has a WAY less payment, I hate it. Billy wants to spiff it all up with new tires, new rims, new sound system, new new new. Boys. They will never have enough toys and gadgets. But I gotta admit, it does look a lot cooler :)

You were good to me, Cavi!

For the last 6 months, Billy and I have been talking about getting a new car. We looked at a Toyota Rav4, Nissan Xterra, Nissan Murano, Nissan Rouge - I'm pretty sure we even looked at a Honda CR-V!!

If you can't tell already, we wanted an SUV :) 
Two weeks ago, Billy told me: Shahny, you have one week to decide what SUV you want or I will pick one for you.

Geez lou wheez! I didn't think he was serious. He was. I really didn't want a new car, yet. My cavi was paid off so it has been nice saving them money instead of making a car payment. It was still running good. So, I was good, right?

Wrong. Billy said that he wanted to get me a new car because I deserved a new car (how cute huh?!). So he looked up the best compact SUVs on US News and...we test drove a Chevorlet Equinox on Saturday.

OH MY FREAKIN GOODNESS!!

Its pretty much amazing. And I pretty much LOVE IT!! And I definitely need to get used to all the hi-tech new features that my cavi DID NOT have lol

Goodbye Cavi! It was a good 5 years!

Its Now Official

To be completely honest, I signed up to ride for the 25th Annual MS Bike Ride in January, 3 months ago. I thought that this would help motivate me to get in shape by having a goal and a deadline. I was kind of on the fence but I thought that it would be a win win for me and MS and plus my aunt, who I look up to and plan to write a post about, convinced me to do it with her. 


Here I am three months later and about three months left. I have been going to the gym each week (not as much as I had hoped) and watching my diet (with little success). But seriously, no more of this crap. I know I have said this so many times and I'm getting sick of it myself. I want to be in shape so I really need to work hard at it. I have to sacrifice and be strict. I am announcing this to make it official in my head in my life and to all of you. I have three months left. I can do it.

I am planning to be a part of the MS Bike Ride event in June, but I need your help. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to ending the devastating effects of MS. I know why I've been stressed

I have totally figured out why I have been so stressed. School is definitely a factor. Work is a big contributor. Personal shizz with family is another. But, I have been having withdrawals. I have not seen my favoritest show of all time in like 6 whole weeks. That's 1.5 months people!! Way too freakin long.

Vampire Diaries premires tonight!! I am soooo stoked!! This is why Thursdays are amazing!! This is why I have been stressed. I have not had my weekly dose of Vampire Diaries in 6 weeks. Not good. Not good at all. 

Ahhhhhhh I am so excited!!!!!! Seriously if you guys aren't keeping up with this show you are totally missing out. I will go directly to the store buy Season 1 and then Season 2 (when it's available) and watch it with you.

As of April 3, 2011 we have had Nala for one whole year! Can you believe it?! I sure cant!! Espesh, because she was so little in this post! Crazy how fast the time has gone.

Nala had turned 1 on February 18 and I planned a whole birthday party for her the following Saturday. And you know what, it snowed! So, I had to cancel it at the very last second. I even made this cute invitation:

But, no worries, I will plan a party for her & Aku in June. Yay!! I cant wait!!

Photoshop Week

I dont think I can complain about my work last week as much espesh because I spent the majority of the time using Photoshop! It was quite awesome! Oh I love creating things. Really really do. 

Last week we were getting ready to close a new loan and we are hoping to get some media and open house set up since it's a new product we offer. Anywho, so I have been created all these banners for marketing and promoting UCRC. And then, my supervisor and I went to Impact Signs to check out their banner material. OMG, I saw all these different banners and designs and material and it was just ... so COOL!! I loved all it!! I even thought, it would be SO cool to work here lol. I really like the window vinyl graphics. They said they put it on buses and people see it but you cant even tell from inside the bus. Pretty cool!!  I wish I had a picture to show you but unfortunately their website doesn't have a huge gallery of their work :(

Maybe I'll jus have to major in Marketing & Design then show you a sample. ha! Totally jus kidding.

Conference Center

This is definitely my most favoritest hymn. I was so happy when they played it today during the AM session of conference.

By the way, speaking of Conference, my sister and I were at the AM session! Exciting, I know. I got 2 tickets from my bishopric and since Billy decided to ditch me and go camping, I ask Manny to come with.

This was my second time and Manny's first time being at the Conference Center during General Conference. Idk about her, but I really like it. The spirit is so much stronger and you CANNOT fall asleep. lol But seriously, hopefully I can make it a goal to attend at least one session every 6 months

I had ordered some shirts for work and they arrived this last week. I HAD to try mine on to make sure it fit and all.

Honestly, it looks alright. I wish it was longer BUT it will definitely look better when I look better. When I'm in shape. Man, I feel like I've been working hard these last couple of months. As always, my diet is the major contributor. I need to work on getting it more healthy. Chocolate definitely cant and shouldnt tempt me every day! haha
