Lake Powell

For the Fourth of July weekend, Billy and I went to Lake Powell with my family. I love knowing that every 4th of July we go camping. This tradition started when I was 11. The first time was in Yuba Lake. It was so much fun and it will always be fun.

Billy and I got SOOOO burnt. The first day we helped launch the waverunners and we completely forgot to put sunscreen. We were on the Lake in pure sunlight for 2+ hours. Oh gosh it hurt to sleep that night.

Fourth of July came... and we didn't even see fireworks. I'm pretty sure it was my first time not seeing fireworks on Independence Day.

It was so much fun tho... I cant wait for next year. We might even bring our own waverunners... ha! ya right!

The Mayan

Cux has been wanting to go to The Mayan since forever. We finally went last night and lets jus say the show is better than the food. Billy and I decided that Taco Bell or Taco Time would be a better choice and less expensive. Basically The Mayan food has no flavor. So friends, if you really want to go to the Mayan Adventure, jus order some drinks and enjoy the show :D

Lunch and a Movie... in the Park

So I got this cute lil idea from "Love, Actually" (http://loveactually-blog.blogspot.com/2009/07/movies-in-park.html)

I woke up yday at 8am, looked outside and saw an overcast. "Yay!" I thought to myself. Today is gonna be a great day for a park. I headed to the gym at 920, still with an overcast. After the gym I headed home, this was around 1130, and there was still an overcast. Then I showered, got everything ready for our "Movie in the Park", and drove to the Park - still an overcast. As soon as we sat down and ate one bite of our Tuna Sandwich the sun was shining brightly and the clouds were gone. BAH! It was sooo nice.

What did we do you ask? Well we ate our delicious picnic and headed back to the house to watch the movie. hehe Even with the sun ruining my plans, it was a great date!

I listen to him TIL THE BREAK OF DAWN and don’t understand WHY YOU WANNA TRIP ON ME about it. I know he’s GONE TO SOON he was like a trophy OUT OF THE CLOSET a real THRILLER and if you didn’t like him you can BEAT IT he will always be remembered for poppin lockin moonwalkin and being BLACK OR WHILE we will miss him
