My sister finally turned 15!!

In Hispance culture, a Quinceañera is a ceremony held for the coming of age of a young lady. When a girl turns 15, her family holds a Quiceañera in her honor because she is becoming a lady.

This Catholics started this tradition but it definitely has changed through the years

St Patricks Day Party

We were unable to celebrate St Patricks day on St Patricks but we definitely celebrated it the friday after. Billy's family goes all out for St Patricks Day and I thought it was a great tradition. So, I offered to have the party at our house... and I sure decorated the place!! I had soo much too!!

St Patty Nails

Last Friday I went to get my nails done; the pink ones were looking quite ugly.

This took 6 months!!!

I have lived in my house for 6 months
Every day we take Aku for a walk - at least 2-3 a day
And every time we walk by the fire hydrant

All I wanted was a picture of a dog peeing on a fire hydrant....

I think it's very cliche
and funny

But, the butt only pees at the fire hydrant when I have no camera

Carter Boy's Bday

Carter, my nephew, shares the same birthday as Billy. He celebrated his 6th birthday at Chuck E Cheese (I just realized that I had my 6th Birthday at Chuck E Cheese too!). 

He invited 11 of his little friends and one didn't show up. His sister, Lilly, brought a friend she could play with. So there was a total of 13 little buggers. Oh my it was complete chaos trying to make sure all of them were there. To my surprise, they were all very behaved, so that definitely made it easier on the adults.

P.S. If you look closely, you'll see a head behind Carter's left shoulder. This little boy was not part of the party. But he could not leave Chuck E. only. I have never see a kid so excited to be at Chuck E Cheese in my 21 years. He was jumping up and down, dancing from side to side, singing along. It was hilarious!

Happy Birthday Billy!!

It was Billy's Birthday last week, March 6. For three months straight, I'd ask him what he wanted for his bday. And each time he'd respond "Nothing." you dont know how frustrated this was. I had to be creative!

Well, just a week before his birthday, we were sitting at home wondering what to eat. I would suggest things like chicken, steak, hamburger, and each time he'd respond "It would be better grilled." I didnt care! I was just hungry for crying outloud. 

Thursday came, the day before his birthday, and finally it clicked: A grill! He'll definitely love it. I can finally eat dinner. And he'll continue to cook for us. Wohoo! Plan was going prefect. But then which one?? So I called up James (his brother) and Emily (james' wife, my sister in law), because whatever James likes, Billy likes and vice versa. 

As soon as I knew what I was getting, I took Billy to the Sears so he could approve of his present. It was hilarious to see him try and guess what his present was. I did confuse him a bit for my own personal enjoyment. lol So he finally guessed and OMG!! he is quite indecisive. The one I had decided on had porcelain-enameled grates. He was looking for stainless steel porcelain-enameled grates. 

Lo and behold we found it at home depot: Weber Spirit E-310

He liked it because:

It has 3 Burners
It has stainless steel porcelain-enameled grates

I bought it (I refused to let him swipe his card. I think that if I swipe my card it's like I paid for it. hehe. I know I'm silly) and he could not stop thanking me and kissing me and being so giddy. I should have known that it takes money to buy his love lol totally jk
