The Big Day

So I basically took FOREVER for this blog (right Billy?). But now that it is here, I hope yall like it :D

Whoa, where do I start? My wedding was amazing! It wasn't too hot and it wasnt too cold, just perfect. Exactly what I was praying for.

I woke up early that morning: 6:30am, in order to get my hair done, my sister's hair done (the maid . . . of honor lol), my mothers hair done, and bolita's hair (aka grandma). My aunt (my mom's sista), Kuki did all our hair. She owns her own salon in Salt Lake: Nouva Imagine. After my hair was all done, Viver worked on my makeup - made me look all gorgeous :D

After all that jazz, we headed to Billy's church building for delicious brunch. Oh MAN! I was starving!! The food was sooo yummy, of course!! I ate strawberries, piña, potato salad, eggs and drank juice. There was also muffins and more, but I cant quite member. lol

After the brunch, momma and i headed to the temple. HOLY CRAP!! there was absolutely no parking. We would have been on time, Billy would have been proud, but we were circling the whole parking lot for one decent parking space. Finally entered the temple and Billy had this evil look of death on . . . turns out we were 20 mins late :( meh, it'll jus have to get used to it - - i think he'd rather die lol!
Once again, the temple was amazing. Awe. The bride's room was verrry beautiful. Our sealing was delayed 30 minutes due to my father being late . . . he was one of the witnesses. But all in all, it was ok cuz Billy and I were able to sit in the Celestial Room a lil longer. After sitting there for a very long time, we began to think that they forgot all about us so we might as well elope. lol.
The blessings pronouced to both of us were very touching and spiritual. I almost cried, but then I knew my makeup would be ruined, so I held back the tears hehe. Very great and rewarding experience. I am so thankful for it.

OH MAN! the reception, boy was it gorgeous. The cake, the lil garden, the fishes, the decorations, and of course the pictures of me everywhere - absolutely amazing. Good thing we invited SOO many ppl, cuz HALF of them showed up. So it was a good number. Kinda bugged me that ppl who made a BIG deal about my wedding didn't even bother showing up. Whatevers, now I know who really cares for me and Bilbo.
Silly Skyler brought a toast. ha! Manny (the maid . . . of honor lol) did an amazing toast/special number. I loved the lyrics!! They were exactly for me!! Our first dance was soo long!! It was ever ending. hehe. But it was nice - I finally cried. hehe. Billy saw me crying and said "Finally! You're human!" haha. I cried for two reasons. One being there with Billy jus overwhelmed me with happiness. And second, I turned to look at my brother, over protected brother, and he looked at me and smiled. His warm and friendly smile gave me so much happiness. I knew he was happy that I was happy and that he approved of Billy. Awe, it was a very special moment for me that I'll never forget.

The cake was delicious, even tho I only had a very tiny piece. hehe

After the bouquet and garter were tossed we were on our way to the honeymoon . . .
