The Honeymoon

So i do not have pictures from my wedding yet and I figured I might as well do something before I procrastinate or worse never do it. So here is my honeymoon :D

August 9-15

Our honeymoon started right after the reception. We drove to Wolf Creek in Eden. Should have been an hour and half drive . . . but turned out to be a 3 hour drive!! My freakin goodness!! Would you like to know why?? Well, lemme tell you: MAPQUEST SUCKS!! The directions we were given were all back roads AND the roads didn't even say the road names. So, we were LOST. That night we didn't get to bed til 1:30. Awful awful awful. We stayed in Eden for 2 nights: Friday and Saturday. On Sat, Billy and I went to buy some groceries so that we'd have something to eat that day. We drove down to the store and instantly I saw Chili. So I craved it. I made billy buy it and buy chips. Yes I was so excited to get home, warm up the chili, and satisfy my chili craving . . . that craving was not satified. Turns out the Chili was a chili brick to make my own chili (Directions: add beans and water) LAAAAME!!
Sunday morning, Billy decided to wake up at 4 am and leave by 4:30 am in order to make it at the airport by 6ish. Pretty sure on our way back to the airport we found out why we took so long the first night (back roads) cuz we easily arrived to 1-15 using only 2 roads. GRR! Billy was quited pissed. I laughed.

Our flight to Long Beach, CA was smoothly. I told Billy when we were still in Utah, to call his cousin to make sure she got his voicemail. Nope. He decided to call her when we were in CA with all our baggage. Did Cousin Carol know we were coming? Nope. Ya, um, Billy forgot to confirm. Oh the silly man.

His cousins, well my cousins, hehe, were super cool and super nice. I really enjoyed spending the couple of days with them -Carol, her daughter: Wendy and her son: Scott. And their cat, Callie is super cute! Not a big fan of cats, but that one sure got my eye :D

Monday, we aboarded the Royal Caribbean International Cruise ship!! I was quite excited!! esp since Mr Billy didn't tell me about it til Friday!! He said it was so hard to keep it a secret lol.
The crew team was supposed to deliver my checked bag to our room, but security held it and I had to personally pick it up. I was a lil nervous: What on earth did I have in my bag that they'd need to hold it for? Immediately, I thought of my straightener. Yup. They thought it was an iron in the xray. haha.

Tuesday, we made our first stop in San Diego. Billy and I decided to go to the Sea World Tour. We both have never been so I was quite excited. We decided to see Shamu, to see what all the fuss what about. hehe. We really wanted to get 'soaked,' so we sat in the soak zone . . . did we get wet? I think not.
We then went to see the Dolphins. So cute. After seeing them, I really wanted to see dolphins jumping up in the ocean on the cruise ship, but never happened. I fell for the little stunt they pulled. JERKS lol Again soak zone is not really a soak zone, well not for us
Finally we went to see the cute lil seals. This one really entertained me. If only i got better pictures with my lame camera :( Soak zone? Yes. Did we get soaked? No.

Wedenesday, we stopped in Catalina Island. A boat shipped us to the island while the cruise ship sat in the middle. Catalina was probably my favorite stop. It was really clean, nice, and very beautiful.
We took the Avalon Scenic Tour, where a bus took us around the island and showed us pretty much everything.
The bus man, Freddy, was freaking hilarious! AND he laughed at his own jokes. Super funny!!

Thursday, we came to our final stop: Ensenada, Mexico.
OMG the churros were freaking AMAZING!! and one was only $1. We totally get ripped off over here. lol We took a lil tour to 'La Bufadora.' It was pretty tight but I only got a couple of good pictures.

Thoughout the cruise nights, they have lil vegas music shows. They were really good. Man those ppl can sing and dance. I was kinda jealous! lol. One night, this girl sang the song to "and I will always love you." Well since the song is meant to go high and powerful and since I actually knew it, it got stuck on my mind. So after the show, I started singing it and kinda loud . . . this old man, prob in his 60's, turned to me and said "Cut it out will you? Or I'll start to cry" Hahaha it was so funny, yet sad. lol!

Friday morning we tried the "express" checkout that took 2 hours. haha. It was aight. Scott came to pick us up and we were back at his house by 11ish. All in all it was a fabulous honeymoon. I had a great time and would def love to do it again (and soon!!)

Pretty sure the towels animals were the highlight of the cruise. We became great friends with all of them. And we cant wait to meet the Elephant :D lol
