I didnt go to work today...

I am sick. Boo! Stuffy nose, massive head throbbing and coughing. So I took the day off. Its always no fun sitting home from work because you are sick. I rather jus "call in sick" ha! But here we are. And here I am. You know, I hope I feel sick tomorrow too :) then I will get another break from work ;)

Why I Love My Job

and yes, that is total sarcasm. I hate my job entirely. Exhibit A:
I get an email from... lets call her Miss Crabby Pants asking for an update on her request. I tell her that I will need to create a ticket in order to expedite her issue. 

Next day, shes all "I still havent received an update" I reply by first providing her with the email where I said "I need to create a ticket" and then I tell her to contact someone for more info.  

Today she sends ANOTHER emails stating "NO ONE IS RESPONDING TO ME!!"

What The Blog?

Yes, what about my blog? Basically, Ive noticed that I havent been in the mood to blog and I asked, "Self, why dont you wanna blog?"

I have found that I would like my blog to be more of a journal. I highly enjoy making the scrapbook* pages of events, but sometimes they take way to much time. 

So I've decided to change my blog jus a bit. I'll put a lil more ME (yes, I'm a selfish B!tch, ha! jk) and add a lot of my own experiences and thoughts about life 

*Dont worry, I wont completely stop with my digi scrapbooking :)

Christmas Day

We drove to James and Emily's Christmas Day. We ate biscuits and gravy for breakfast YUM! James sure knows how to cook. And with the help of Emily, they make very satisfied tummy's. hehe.

After breakfast, we exchanged gifts. But it was for the adults only. And pretty sure it was rigged lol. Billy and I had James and Emily. James and Emily had Bobby and Heather. Bobby and Heather had David and Kristen. David and Kristen and Billy and me. It think couple names were picked out, instead of individuals. But oh well, we still got individual presents.

A great way to end the Christmas holiday by relaxing and eating.

'Twas The Night Before Christmas

... and all through the house, the family was watching TV. lol We spent Christmas Eve with my parents. It was so nice. Usually we get together with the entire family - aunts uncles cousins grandparents - but this year it was jus the immediate family. I really really liked how it was less chaotic and I definitely felt the reason for the season.

We ate a delicious Christmas dinner and then watched "The Golden Child" with Eddie Murphy. Its been so long since I last saw that movie that I had forgotten many parts. After the movie, we sat down by the Christmas tree to exchange gifts. Since Shaedon was the youngest of the bunch (Chance wasn't include in the exchange since hes spoiled and EVERYONE got him a gift) he started. He had Chris and gave him a giftcard to Best Buy. Chris had Dad and gave him a giftcard to the movies. Dad had Mike and gave him money. Mike had Billy and gave him iTunes giftcard. Billy had Kjera and gave her a very soft pink scarf and a soft colorful beanie. Kjera had Shaedon and gave him a guitar!! Manny was the next youngin and she had Cassie. She gave her a purse with goodies inside. Cassie had Manny, lol, and gave her a giftcard to Rue 21. Next was me and I had Mom (can you guess who Mom had lol). I gave her some silky scarfs and earrings. Finally, but definitely not least, Mom had me and gave me a giftcard to Best Buy (which I used for a Wii control!!).

It was sucha great way to start of the Christmas Holiday. I am so thankful for my family and I love them very very much.

Happy Birthday Kjera

My brothers fiance' Kjera turned 20 on November 13, 2009. She tried to get outta a birthday dinner but my parents put their foot down lol But due to some of our schedules, we had to have a birthday lunch the next day at Cafe Rio. YUM!

Kjera will be a wonderful addition to our family. She is funny, sarcastic, loving, and caring. Her and Mike will be married on March 11, 2010. We are all counting down the days as we all cant wait!!

Bella Bash

Before New Moon came out, My sister and I decided we should have a lil Party to get ready for the movie. At first we were gonna go to a "Bella Bash" that Mary Kay consultants were hosting, but there were an entrance fee and no one could to pay. SO, we hosted one at my house.

We had our makeup done like Vampires, had some food, and watched Twilight. It was sooo fun! A GREAT girls night.
