Ed's Bday
My father in law is only one year from retirement but he started early lol. His birthday was on October 22 (I know, I'm so behind with my blogs). We all went over to James and Emily's for ribs (my favorite), beans, colesaw, and yummy delicious cake. Well what can I say about Ed? He is a very very chilled man, keeps to himself, but loves talking. I love when he tells me stories about the enormous houses he inspects in Alpine. I would love to go on one of these adventures with him. I think I get along the most with Ed and it's prob cuz we are both very reserved. hehe. Happy Birthday Ed!!

Witches
My mother in law, Joyce, had found an arts and crafts for Halloween and totally talked me into it. Lol! It sounded way fun, even with me not being creative. Basically, you have a wooden witch hat and decorate it. You can follow the design they had (way too complicated for me hehe) or do your own. All the Short girls (Heather is definitely a soon to be Short; Bobby's girlfriend) got together and crafted! It was soo fun. I wish I had a lil more time to think, maybe it would have turned out better, but it's still cute. Emily's, of course, turned out WAY cute. That gifted scrapbooker!

MY BIRTHDAY!!
My Birthday was a two day celebration, cuz that's how I roll. I took off Thursday, my actual birthday, and Friday just because I felt like it. On Thursday, I decorated the house with balloons and streamers. Made myself a Birthday Jello with Happy Birthday in it. Then some friends came over to watch the Season 2 Premier of Fringe and Season 6 Premier of The Office (hence the jello lol). It turned out to be a good birthday, espesh since I didn't work.
Friday, Billy and I went to lunch with his parents. Next to the restaurant, there was a fabric store, Cotton Shop, that Joyce wanted to get some fabric from. There was where I saw a sewing machine and wanted it. I've been wanting a sewing machine for a while, cuz I wanna start learning how to sew, but never thought I'd actually pay for it. So my birthday was an excuse to get it! hehe And Billy thought is was a spontaneous buy ;) After lunch, Billy and I went bowling. I DID SOOO HORRIBLE. Oh well it was fun. After bowling we went to dinner with my family and Billy's 'rents. I decided to pick "Good Wood" since my family hasn't been and its SOO d-lish! Plus I always crave BBQ ribs YUM! And finally we headed to my house for some ColdStone ice cream cake, gotta love it. Well, I sure do!

Chancey 1st Birthday
The cutest nephew in the WORLD turned one on September 12. Chris and Cassie decided to celebrate it the day before. There was jumpyhouse, carne, rice, drinks, presents, and piƱata! and lots of family and friends. Just like a first birthday should be!! Billy thinks first birthdays shouldnt be so big since the kid wont even remember. But hello!! it's the FIRST birthday, it HAS to be BIG and FUN!! I cant wait til we have kids and their first birthday... I pretty much plan to go ALL out. Muahaha
My Mommys Bday
My mom wanted to celebrate her birthday by go bowling. Her birthday (September 6) fell on a Sunday this year, so we went bowling the next day, Labor Day. I dunno why but I have always liked bowling. I think it the fun-est past time. I even told Billy that I wanted to join a league. It would be a nice way to spend time together. I bowled so good. Usually I get A LOT of gutter balls, and I really mean A LOT. This time Manny was the one who got the gutters lol. Shaed was so funny. He was cradling it and they twisted his torso to roll it down. My Dad was jus throwing it as hard as he could (Billy didn't go but he does that do... MEN! ha!) I was actually excited that my dad played. He never likes to play games. He usually jus sits and watches... then leaves lol. Im pretty sure my mom had a great birthday. She turned..... just kidding, she would probably kill me. lol jk
Delicate Arch
Oh gosh! I have been so lazy and haven't been blogging. I really needed get my act together. So here goes!
On September 5, Billy and I drove down to Moab since I never saw the arches. We finally arrived at Moab about 5pm and stayed at Billy's aunt house, Mary and her husband Del. They were so much fun. We ate delicious dinner and played "Chicken Foot" with Dominoes. Stupid me left my camera in the car and didn't take any pictures of them. I finally got to meet the famous "Liz," Mary and Del's daughter. That brave lil woman gave birth to 12 kids!! none of them twins, triples, nada. They have the BIGGEST house. It was way nice. I think I feel in love with the table lol. It was so big that there was a lil turn table in the middle. Billy says he think it's called lazy susan. Meh, I'll turn call it lil turn table lol
So the next day we made the drive to the Delicate Arch and hiked it up. Oh MY Goodness Gracious! It was a tough one. But we made it! Such a beautiful experience. I cant wait to visit the other arches

Legal Cassie
My sister in law, Cassie, turned 18 on the 18 of August - Golden Year!! We all went to KawLoon Cafe for dinner. I've never been there but let me tell you: their orange chicken was delish. I also enjoyed the egg drop soup. Oh gosh, now I want me some Chinese food. hehe
Billy and I got there a bit late as we took a nap and totally slept through the alarm!! This whole waking up at 5am is killing us. WE NEED SLEEP!! ha
So, Cassie has been in the family for about 2 years. I met her last year in Spring. We both were very shy at first but throughout the months we have warmed up to each other. I love that everytime you tell her a story she says, and I quote, "Oh wow, really." Ha gotta love her! She is so sarcastic!! I member once Chris was telling a very pointless story and Cassie was eavesdropping. As soon as he finished, Cassie pop in and said "That was the stupidest story I have ever heard" hahaha Oh man I definitely couldn't stop laughing (I am laughing as I tell it lol)
I'm so glad that my brother met her and fell in love. I honestly believe she has been a great influence in his life. She is a wonderful sister in law.
