When I think about Vampire Diaries, not only is it a FABULOUS show, but it has great eye candy!! The big question is

What Salvatore brother do you like?

And I have finally decided on

I'm sure I have always known this but with each episode that passes, Damon gets better and better. He gets more and more romantic. And believe it or not, he gets more and more gorgeous!! 

The problem is that I dont see him with Elena, cuz duh, she's meant to be with Stefan. But lately, Stefan is jus boring. Damon's got attitude. He's got personality, He has a great sense of humor. And he's got swagger. Aaahhhh hes amazing!

Too bad I have to wait til September for the second season to start up :(

I am SOOO SOOOO happy...

that I asked for tomorrow off!! AND Monday. 4 day weekend baby


Lemme jus recap my morning @ work:

• Get to work at 8 (ok, fine, you caught me, I was five minutes late) 
• Log on and I see two calls waiting for 5 minutes. Did I mention my computer hadnt even started up yet? Wonderful.
• Take the first call - pretty sure the guy wanted me to look up pricing for 50 part numbers!!
• Take the second call - he had requested to add ONE part number to his Big Deal, ya, didnt even happen. 

Now lemme tell you my frustration:
This guy submitted a request to add ONE part number. ONE. So what does HP do?

They approve his request. They tell him that his request has been completed. Come to find out they added a completely DIFFERENT part number.

Tell me: HOW DOES THAT EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE???

Elvis, the King, turned 45

My mom had been telling us for months that my dad wanted to go to Desert Star to see a show. But for some reason we were never able to go. Things came up or the show was sold out. Until...

Dad decided to share his birthday by having dinner at Famous Daves (copy cater! lol jk). As always, we ordered the platter: BBQ ribs, mashed potatoes, beans, corn bread, BBQ chicken, potato wedges. YUM! We got to sing him 'Happy Birthday" and pretty sure he loved his presents - New Moon the movie, tackle box, a frame and Kjera, Pike, Billy and I got him his favorite cologne. The night was young, but we all had to go... so we said our goodbyes, Happy Birthdays, and drove off ... what Dad didnt know was that mom had other plans for him.

SURPRISE!!

We all met at Desert Star to watch "Pirates of the Car-Rib-EEE-An." It was so funny!! I really dont member the last time I laughed that hard. The was a lot of inside jokes and adult humor. Fun fun fun. I would like to go back and watch another show... Billy, hint hint. My favoritest part was at the end during "Jack"s execution and someone shouted "Fire at 'Will' " so they all turned their guns and aimed them at "Will" haha too funny. Happy Birthday Papita!!

Service Project

Last week I had the opportunity to do a service project during work. I must admit, I volunteered knowing I would get outta work for a couple of hours hehe.

Project: With South Jordan Parks & Rec., 

we will be paving a trail for horses to ride

But I also volunteered because I have never done this before and I was curious to know what it was about.

It was really nice to be outside and get something done for the community. Oh ya, and the fact that I didnt work for 2 hours was a BONUS!! Them horses better appreciate their Equestrian Trail!!

I really only have one thing on my mind today and that could be cuz i have massive headache and can only think of one way to get rid of it ;)

I feel like I complain a lot about my job. And the answer is: Yes, I complain a lot about my job.  But that's because I think I have good reasons to hate my job. In fact, these are the major reasons why I hate my job :)

1. I feel like I am constantly being micro-managed. I get asked at least one a day, if I'm logging my calls, if I was on time, if I am taking my breaks correctly, if its a slow day or a busy day. Frankly, I am a GREAT employee. I get to work on time, I do my work, I mind my own business, and I log everything. I think its very unnecessary to check up me. Newsflash: I AM RESPONSIBLE
2. My direct manager does not know anything about my job. Im sure this can happen at many job positions. But how frustrating would it be to have to teach your manager, whom gets paid more than you, how to do his own job?! Ya, welcome to my life.
3. Because I am sucha great worker, I am taken advantage of. Well, why not ask the hard working person to do more than she can. Train her to learn more, so she can do more. Its really not fair that the workers who dont know anything, wont do anything, and asked repeatedly to do their work, get away with a mickey mouse job (as my dad would say lol). Because they arent capable, they dont bother learning, and they suck at life, those of us who are great workers, get stuck with more to do
4. My job consists of helping partners get discounted pricing, and occasionally I help when partners cant access the partner site. I am the first level of support. I do not have access to all the tools. When things arent working properly, I have to escalate to my second level of support. BIG PROBLEM. They have no idea what they do. They make constant mistakes.  They dont ever respond back to follow ups. And, they also suck at life. But when partners call in to complain, who gets all the bullshit? The first level of support. Me. My team. It is so irritating and frustrating because I CANT DO ANYTHING. I didnt make the mistake. I cant fix the problem. And I feel so helpless. So worthless.

I do not want to continue working in this position for the rest of my life. And I have realized that if I dont do something about it, then it will be my only option. So I have decided to go back to school, get my degree in teaching because I want to be a math teacher :) Call me crazy, but I honestly feel like thats my calling in life. I'm good at math. I get it. And I can teach others how to get it :) 

Wish me luck. It's gonna be a hard and long journey. But I've finally found what I want. And I'm not gonna stop til I've got it :D I'm excited!!
